Hiring a lawyer is an important decision. You should know the professional who will be your advocate. Here is my introduction to you and my approach to the law.
I practice a form of legal services called participatory law. This is a style of legal work that involves the client in every major decision. I believe that lawyers should not dictate outcomes. The client should be in control of his/her case and any legal work involved. After all, the client is the party that has the most at risk. Further, a client should have a thorough understanding of the consequences of his/her decision. I take the necessary time to educate clients on the legal and practical matters at hand.
I became a lawyer for one overarching reason. I recognized that some consumers and organizations were treated unfairly in business transactions.
In many of the instances, the terms of a deal were not clearly articulated. In some cases, the other party acted fraudulently. I believe good lawyering can level the playing field for clients. I want my clients to reach good results in every business dealing.
